While smartphones are taking over the world, tablets are going to become second in command.  As with the smartphone revolution, Apple has no intention of disappointing its consumers.
Ipad similar to iphone has changed the landscape of not only desktop computing but the more recent mobile computing.

However,  Manufacturers, other than apple are trying to jump on the Ipad bandwagon which will lead to a number of non-Apple tablets coming out over the next year. eMarketer projects that 24 million tablets will sell in 2011, with the iPad's overall share of the market dropping to 80 percent.  Shawn Dubravac, Chief Economist and Director of Research, Consumer Electronics Association, goes on record with "I have a list of 80+ tablets that have been announced and many of these will see the light of day at the 2011 CES, with competition heating up, each and every aspect of differentiation will be on the table - OS, screen size, color, and available applications."
